Here’s some things most folks don’t do, but need to, so they can ensure their teleconference will be well received and well attended:
- Email the parties expected in the conference at least 5 days in advance and then – most importantly -10 to 15 minutes before the conference begins with all the pertinent technical information needed for the conference.
- Send such emails return receipt so that the initiating party can be sure all potential conference participants have the needed information to join the conference.
- Provide a secondary phone number that parties to the conference can call should they have problems or need help joining the conference.
Try using these protocols when you set up your teleconference. We think you will be extremely pleased with the results
