As far as the top 10 manufacturers go, they all manufacturer office telephone equipment that, as far as quality goes, ranges from very good to excellent. In addition they have the needed resources available to support their products properly. The bottom 10 are for the most part slickly marketed business telephone system products that look great, sound great and basically in our view are near junk! The Sprint Protege business telephone systems have very low resale value and are very hard to get serviced from anyone other than the vendor it gets purchased from. Such vendors are then free to charge whatever they please to provide such service. Businesses unfortunte enough to invest in a Toshiba CTX business telephone system subject themselves to a similar fate excepting that the resle vale while still very poor is slighly better than the Protoge.
Warning about the many different Voice Over IP Telephone systems on the market today: It seems like almost every day a new VOIP phone system comes on the market. In our experience most of these systems and companies will not be around in 5 or maybe even as little as 3 years from now leaving the businesses that purchased equipment made by them with a large investment that cannot be supported and therefore in need of full replacement. In other words a complete waste of allot of their hard earned money!
